We’ve got a brand new Strava challenge for you to join.
Yoga and Pilates @sashaalexmorgan has created our newest Make Life Richer Yoga challenge specifically designed for runners.
Sasha will lead a 10-minute yoga class every day for 7 days. All you have to do is join our Strava running club, select yoga as your activity and log your 10 minutes every day.
Learn how to stretch and prep your body better for running and join Sasha for 7 days of free, feel-good stretching and mindfulness🧘🏻♂️
It all begins on Sunday July 26th @10am on our Strava
The 7 Day Yoga Challenge will take you through a series of videos designed to support runner’sbodies. This challenge will improve the mobility of the joints of the lower body, bring awareness torunning alignment, release and stretch out built up tensions in the hips, hamstrings, calves andfeet as well as help you to connect with your body each day.
This challenge is suitable for all levels. Equipment is not essential but if you need some support insome of the poses then yoga bricks (or hard back books), cushions and/or a chair (for balance)may be helpful to you.
To support your body as a runner, regular mobility and stretch practices as used in this challengeare essential, but resistance training is also important and recommended alongside this.
