Accredited by the UN CDM, revenue from this project funds abatement work, helping to decompose an estimated 98% of N2O emissions produced. Fertiliser production is an important contributor to Egypt’s economy, given the country’s reliance on agriculture but there are few regulations around nitrous oxide, a by-product of fertiliser production.
This reforestation project in rural Scotland plants new forest accredited by the Woodland Carbon Code helping to reduce flooding in the area, improve soil health and increase water conservation. THe project also works to improve public access and social programmes in the area.

Increased local employment and a closing of the social disparity gap major social sustainability benefits of this project.
The Sudokwon Landfill Gas Electricity Generation Project processes solid waste to generate clean, renewable energy while reducing methane emissions and increasing recovery of metals and other recyclable materials. Through the project, sanitation is improved through hygienic waste management, employment opportunities have been increased through jobs created in recycling materials and in a country where the majority of energy is imported, improvements have been made to circular resource management.
Through measuring and now taking action we are proud to be CARBON NEUTRAL for the years 2020-21. We have removed, mitigated and prevented 3099 TCO2e of carbon emissions and we will continue to offset our contributions in the years to come.
The next steps are to put into effect new reduction strategies to decrease our overall carbon emissions, moving towards Net Zero as a business. While we’re not there yet, we’re putting in the work and we have some big goals.
Part of this work is implementing immediate-impact projects. Under the pillars Production, End-Of-Life and Overhead, we are actioning a series of projects that will lead to a decrease in our carbon footprint.
